Computer Network

Computer Network

A computer network or data network is a telecommunications Network which allows computers to exchange data. In computer networks, networked computing devices exchange data with each other using a data link. The connections between nodes are established using either cable media or wireless media. The best-known computer network is the Internet.

Network computer devices that originate, route and terminate the data are called network nods. Nodes can include hosts such as personal computers phones servers as well as networking hardware. Two such devices can be said to be networked together when one device is able to exchange information with the other device, whether or not they have a direct connection to each other.

Components
A network has basically three components: Application Software, Network software and network hardware.

The sum of the number of application software interface through which computer programs are connected to the network users can share resources in a variety of network. These client-server or peer-to-peer nature can be.

Network software, which is the sum of the number of network access rules or protocol that establishes the program, which provides the basis for a computer communicate with another computer, or "talk". Guidelines as well as the protocols to exchange formatted packets is maintained. The logical connection between the two applications creates computer network protocols, network infrastructure and management through the packet sent at the same time trying to minimize as far as possible the chance of a collision between packets.

Physical parts or components that are connected to multiple computers, network hardware, called them together. Among them are two important components of the transmission medium for carrying signals of computers and network adapters. The transmission medium is usually made of fiber or apatikala. Transmission media and network software in the network adapter to establish a link between
The size of binary digits, or bits of information that is transmitted over the network, so that the computer can process the electronic circuit easily.
